Regrowth
We are only new custodians to this little piece of the valley and everyday we feel in awe of it’s beauty and it’s opportunities to grow our lives in a renewed way. The term “regrowth” is used in agriculture as a negative way to describe the plant life growing back after a productive farm is abandoned. I liken this term to our society right now. A productive society, a product culture is gone and we are left with just regrowth. But it is this exact regrowth that can be harnessed to create a new society and new culture, that can never be the same as it once was, but it does hold the potential to be better. And as the new custodians of this plot, that’s exactly what we intend to do!
